In 9 days time the PlayStation Vita will be released in the UK and there is much competition in regards to prices.

For just £5 top up aswell you will get to download Wipeout 2048 for free and if bought from a Vodafone store you will recieve a free memory card aswell. Much like GAME you can trade in old  phones and consoles towards the cost of the console.

The most impressive deal is with and they offer for the Wi-fi version on the Vita for £218.84 with a choice of six games. the choices are as follows

Vodafone’s PSVita tariff

Vodafone has shown its hand today with the details of what you will get for topping up your 3G Pay and Go Sim.

The PlayStation Vita 3G will also be available at other high street and online retailers with the option to top up £5 and get the WipEout 2048 game free of charge.

The PlayStation Vita introduces the new pre-installed NEAR application which provides an array of new social gaming services not currently available on any other portable gaming console. This includes location based services and real social gaming on the move, allowing users to comment on and recommend games as well as track their friends’ locations through the inbuilt GPS which is exclusive to 3G models only.

Vodafone 3G gives customers access to the PlayStation Network, offering instant messaging, the ability to share and compare gaming Trophies, as well as admission to the PlayStation Network Store and downloadable social network apps such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.

With Vodafone Buyback, customers can also trade in old handsets or gaming devices against the cost of the PlayStation Vita at their local Vodafone store.
