Yes that’s right!! I have all of the games and not even opened them yet!!

I quite often buy the multiple format games for both, like Red Dead Redemption and Split Second Velocity the xbox 360 version gets the first look.

Am I weird?

After the great E3 this year the Playstation 3 in my mind will have the best year yet with the inclusion of the PlayStation Move controller and current games getting patches to support this such as Tiger Woods 2011 and Heavy Rain

So I should start playing these games then? Get some more platinums?

This blog has been dormant for quite a while now yet I seem to get at least 200 hits per day thanks to my “Sonic Ruined By Sega” article. What once started out to be just an occasional write-up got me hooked into giving my gaming opinions whether people agree with them or not. I am not perfect by any means and my grammar is subject to criticism but I am learning still and want to become a better writer and a better gamer who can be objective when it comes to gaming.

It has been a few interesting years for me in regards to gaming. I have  found time writing for the great NXTGamer with Mike Bell and having had started the World Gamers Blog back in 2008 which had a short but pleasant run and met great people and fellow gaming writers such as Mark Libman who runs OzBoxLive, Lauren Wainwright who is such a passionate gamer and David Doherty better known as SonicAlpha.

While I will be still writing and running NXTGamer with the great MikeStoke this blog will be of just my opinions and please support NXTGamer and the rest of the great team

Over the next few months there will be tweaks to this blog and plenty of updates.

Metal Gear Solid comes to the PSN(finally)

Its been on the US PSN Store for a long time now and even longer on the Japanese store. FINALLY Konami release MGS for the Europe regions.

Its ten years ago now since Metal Gear Solid first made its appearance onto the Playstation 1 and it is still one of the best games around.

£7.99 is a bargain price for a 2 disc classic that you can keep on your Hard Drive for aslong as your heart desires.

It has been 9 months since we have seen Peggle come to the Xbox Live Arcade and has shown that it is up there in terms of quality and value for money. It bolsters up with a fun multiplayer mode that has driven me to beat my mates as much as I can and get some nice achievements!

Pop Cap Games have now bought a DLC expansion that costs 400 MS Points or £2.99 for the PSN. This is called ‘Peggle Nights’ and features a new Adventure mode(which is0 VERY Challenging) and a new challenge mode that has a new character called Marina and new Achievements and trophies to boot. In my mind this is the single best DLC this year for value and enjoyment!

In addition Peggle and the expansion Peggle Nights is debuting on the PSN today and is definately worth a look
